Lighting

Light, like the use of colour, can transform the space within a room. The physical environment can be enhanced by the addition of appropriate lighting ensuring a room is comfortable and practical to use. Adequate light levels is just the beginning; enabling tasks, creating subtle or dramatic atmosphere, highlighting focal points and energy saving can all be accomplished with good lighting.

We will work closely with you to understand how you plan to use the space both now and in the future and help you to create a lighting scheme which will meet your needs. Lighting control can be simple or part of a whole intelligent home automation system.

A well designed lighting scheme and control system can create the mood you require with minimum effort.

Lighting design needs to be considered right at the beginning of your building or renovation project ideally before electrical first fix to give you the maximum flexibility and a perfect finish. Practical consideration needs to be given to how many lighting circuits will give you the effect you require, how you are going to control your lighting, the type of fitting suitable for a particular effect and even positioning of fittings to enable for example ease of changing a light bulb.

If you are already further into your project this may limit the ability to install wiring and control systems without the need for cosmetic repair work. We will work with you, your architect, builder or interior designer to ensure plans for lighting are consistent with your overall scheme.

We can source fittings from a wide range of suppliers to give your project the ‘wow’ factor. We have access to a wide range of designs not readily available via the high street or the internet including energy efficient fibre optic and cutting edge LED designs.

   All your lighting can be precisely controlled, individually or in group, with any button on the system.

   When you retire for the evening, simply select one button and your entire home is safe and secure - lights are adjusted          and your security system is activated.

   Need to stop your kids watching TV late into the night? You can control when power is available at various appliances.
   Open and close the garage door on arrival home.
